Getting to know the Navy Lodges (are you eligible to stay?)

Q: Who is eligible to stay at a Navy Lodge?

A: The Navy Lodge is available to: Active Duty Military members and their families, Retired Military members and their families, Reserve Military members and their families, International Military, Department of Defense, Public Health, and Red Cross on orders.

Q: How far in advance can I make a Navy Lodge reservation?

A: The following are the rules depending on your status:

  • Active Duty on PCS or TDY orders Anytime
  • Active Duty leave, Rest & Relaxation, Widows/ widowers/ dependents of Active Duty Military Personnel 60 days
  • Retirees, Widows/ Widowers/ Dependents of Retired Military Personnel, Retired reservists 30 days
  • Foreign Military 60 days
  • DoD and DN (on orders), DoD and DN (not on orders with Navy Exchange Privileges), Public Health (on orders) and Red Cross (on orders) 30 days
  • Medical in-patients and family of seriously ill Anytime
  • Medical out-patients 60 days
  • Reservists 60 days

Q: How do I make a reservation?

A: Reservations can be made by calling 800-Navy Inn, via the web page www.Navy-Lodge.com, or by calling the Navy Lodge of your choice directly.

Q: How many rooms may I reserve?

A: You can reserve as many rooms as required. Group reservations can be made by calling the Navy Lodge of your choice directly.

Q: What information should I have at check in?

A: If you are on orders, a copy of your orders and current ID. If you are traveling for leisure we require your ID. You, as the sponsor, will be required to be present to check in your sponsored guests.

Q: Is my pet allowed?

A: Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in the Navy Lodge. Kennel information is available by calling the Navy Lodge where you will be staying.

Q: How do I guarantee my room for late arrival?

A: Reservations are held until 1800 hours at most of the lodges. You may guarantee your reservation for late arrival with either a major credit card or an advance cash deposit (one night's lodging sent directly to the lodge).

Q: What credit cards does the Navy Lodge accept?

A: The Navy Lodge accepts Visa, Master Card, Diners Club, and American Express.
